Child Sponsorship Project

Our Child Education Support Project is dedicated to offering educational opportunities to school-aged orphans and vulnerable children, encompassing those aged between 3-13 in pre-primary and primary schools, as well as disadvantaged youth aged 14-24 participating in secondary school and vocational training programs. Through this initiative, we aim to equip them with the necessary skills that will enhance their prospects and opportunities as they transition into adulthood.
To achieve this mission, we are actively seeking child sponsorship partners who can contribute to providing educational support for these school-aged orphans, ensuring they receive the opportunities they deserve.

Orphanage Project

In Kisoro district, an alarming increase in the number of orphaned and homeless children has been observed. These vulnerable children are often abandoned, with no means of tracing their family members or caregivers.
GSC is committed to addressing this issue by establishing a modest orphanage project, offering these children a secure and nurturing home environment, access to education, and continuous support throughout their formative years. Presently, this project provides assistance to more than 165 children, and the demand for such support is on the rise.
Our vision is to expand and enhance our orphanage project by acquiring a suitable piece of land and constructing buildings capable of accommodating approximately 230 orphaned or abandoned children. For more comprehensive details about this endeavor, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Girl power project

This project was initiated in November 2011 with the primary aim of providing support to girl orphans, disabled individuals, and those who have faced significant disadvantages, as well as those who have suffered from child abuse and violence within the community. These adversities often hinder their development and expose them to harmful risks such as rape, early forced marriage, prostitution, and premature employment.
Our objective is to offer these vulnerable individuals the opportunity to lead normal lives, despite the limitations of available resources. We extend an earnest call to the global community to join hands for this cause. These individuals have not contributed to the hardships they face, and we believe it is our collective responsibility to provide them with a chance for a better life.

Family Outreach

In Uganda, villagers grapple with numerous hardships, including pervasive unemployment and the devastation of their homes due to extreme weather conditions. GSC is dedicated to collaborating with disadvantaged families to enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Our support takes various forms, including immediate assistance such as food and clothing, as well as providing financial aid for school fees, medical expenses, and other essential needs.
Coordinator Janepher Nyakake personally visits families in their homes and at schools to assess their requirements and seek solutions to their challenges. One of the most pressing issues is access to medical treatment and HIV/AIDS testing, a problem that extends across Uganda but poses an even greater challenge for these families due to limited awareness of sexual health and personal care.
The estimated cost for this planned project is 8,000,000 USD.
